However, it should have come with the standard heat shield covering of the wires given the evidence of heat stress blackening on the Original Gas igniter. I removed it from the original igniter by splitting it open and securing it with a wire wrap...on the new version (that is slightly shorter than the Bosch part) and therefore even more exposed to the high temp oven space. If you included some insulation material with the part it could allow a better job of sealing off this route for heat to escape this igniter portal...which is kind-of a bad design

Purchase and was delivered in 9 days easy to replace and works like a charm. I have an older Bosch gas stove and I love it and would hate the expense in replacing it. They made it so easy to order
